Join us Jan. 22-23, 2020, in Sonoma for the Talent Development Think Tank

After much coordination and realignment of resources, keynote speakers, facilities, and countless other considerations, we have rescheduled and reopened ticket sales!

We’ve rescheduled at the same venue and reserved space to accommodate additional participants

SANTA ROSA, CA (Nov. 14, 2019) – After much coordination and realignment of resources, keynote speakers, facilities, and countless other considerations, we have rescheduled the Talent Development Think Tank for January 22-23, 2020, and reserved more space at our original venue to accommodate some additional participants.

All 4 keynote speakers – Liz Wiseman, Josh Bersin, Julie Winkle Giulioni, and Michael Bungay Stanier – are on board for the new dates, but the full agenda of breakout sessions will likely have a few adjustments. The latest agenda updates will appear on our website.

Originally set for Nov. 6-7, 2019, the event was postponed when the Kincade wildfire escalated to threaten much of the region and forced the evacuation of our venue as the conference dates approached.

“For those of you wondering about the effects of the Kincade wildfire, it goes without saying that it was an absolute tragedy that affected many thousands of people in Sonoma County,” said Bennett Phillips, co-founder. “Luckily for us, the immediate area around our conference venue was untouched. Our hearts to go out to those affected, and we are looking forward to supporting several local businesses in the area who are helping make this event happen as they get back on their feet.”

“A special thanks goes out to our keynote speakers who, despite being in high demand, worked with us in the spirit of partnership,” Phillips added.

Rescheduling the event made it possible for us to reserve the other half of the main session ballroom to accommodate about 50 additional participants. The original event was sold out and had a waitlist. (Purchase tickets here!)

The daily schedule for the conference will be the same as the prior plan, with a welcome reception on Tuesday, January 21, the main conference on Wednesday and Thursday, January 22-23, and an optional 3rd day Multipliers simulation on Friday, January 24. We will have a new special link to the Hyatt so attendees can reserve rooms at our discounted rate, which will remain the same as before.

“We are relieved that the community in Sonoma, specifically our partners and hosts in Santa Rosa, successfully made it through these tragic fires over the last few weeks. The decision to postpone our event is still the right one, even in hindsight, as the safety and security of our participants are our highest priorities,” said Jonathan Hodge, president and CEO of Advantage Performance Group, co-sponsor of the event.

“I am also pleased that we could quickly reschedule early in 2020 to insure that we deliver on our promise to add value to the coming business cycles for those attending. We are hopeful that these new dates will work for everyone previously committed and look forward to seeing the group together at last,” Hodge said.
